Community Programs: San Mateo

Since 1998, the Youth Leadership Institute San Mateo’s programs have spanned a broad spectrum of ages and geographies—from middle school to college students, and from bayside to coastside communities. Building on the strong ties among county residents, San Mateo’s youth programs cultivate relationships between young people and school administrators, public health officials, County supervisors, city council members, major foundations, and community advocates. The Youth Leadership Institute San Mateo also offers training and technical assistance services to build the capacity of the community to create positive change in their county.
