Youth Innovation Making Power and Community Trust (Y-IMPACT) Youth Grants Board
Y-IMPACT is a youth philanthropy project where young people give grants of up to $10,000 each year for youth-driven health and wellness projects. Through this grant making, Y-IMPACT develops new youth leaders and maximizes youth impact in Daly City and Pacifica.
After a youth-led action survey found that violence and stress are the highest concerns of students in the Jefferson Union High School District, Y-IMPACT youth grants board gave out $8,000 to eight youth-led groups focused on health and wellness projects during the ’08-’09 year.
