The Youth Leadership Institute is a leading provider of technical assistance and consultation to organizations, foundations, and government programs working in youth development and engagement.
The Youth Leadership Institute has served as the designated technical assistance provider and evaluator for the California Friday Night Live Partnership for the last 18 years.
In this capacity, The Youth Leadership Institute directs the Office of Research, Education, and Training for Friday Night Live, and draws from a pool of technical assistance providers with expertise in the public and private education, health and prevention, and restorative justice systems, and in public and non-profit agencies and organizations. The technical assistance consultants provide support and capacity building to counties and regions implementing Friday Night Live programs.

The California Friday Night Live Partnership is a youth development and prevention program in 54 counties in California that engages young people as active resources and as leaders in their communities while addressing negative impacts of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
