YLI is a national youth philanthropy leader.
In the past 14 years, we have worked with a range of key stakeholders across the country to create new opportunities for young people to participate in youth philanthropy as grantseekers, grantmakers, or participants in youth-led projects.
YLI envisions youth philanthropy as an approach for greater youth participation in communities. We believe that philanthropy is important to community social change, but in order for it to be its most effective, it should be inclusive and equitable.
Youth philanthropy can be viable at different levels of intensity and in different community and institutional settings. We work with communities and institutions, and educate and support them in expanding and deepening youth involvement.
