Marin County Youth Commission Made up of young people from all parts of the county, the Marin County Youth Commission advises the county board of supervisors on issues that matter to young people.
San Francisco Civic Action Innovation Fund This new initiative provides youth-led teams with funding and support to carry out action plans that promote a youth voice in improving schools and communities.
Student Advisory Council The Student Advisory Council (SAC) is the voice of public high school students in San Francisco, representing youth perspectives to the board of education and the superintendent.
Proposed California Youth Advisory Council YLI is working with the San Francisco Youth Commission and other youth groups to create a statewide youth advisory council.

Healthy Empowered Youth
The Healthy Empowered Youth (HEY) Team is comprised of San Rafael and Novato
high school students who are working with Kaiser Permanente on “Operation
Healthy Eating and Active Living (HEAL)” to engage students, staff, parents
and community members to create solutions for implementing the new Student
Wellness Policies in the San Rafael and Novato school districts. |
