Friday Night Live (Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties) Friday Night Live is a statewide youth development network that promotes youth-led strategies for reducing alcohol, tobacco and other drug use among young people. YLI coordinates dozens of Friday Night Live member groups across the Bay Area.
Prevention Youth Councils (Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties) A nationally recognized model for prevention and youth advocacy, YLI's Bay Area Prevention Youth Councils engage young people in ongoing projects that change local policies and practices with regard to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol (Marin County) This new initiative provides and opportunity for youth and adults to work together to improve communities through environmental prevention strategies.
Tobacco Prevention Projects (San Mateo County) YLI engages groups of San Mateo youth in organizing and advocacy to create tobacco-free communities.
Youth Development Partnerships (San Mateo County) Through two broad-based collaborations, YLI trains and supports teams of young people to reduce youth drug use in targeted areas of San Mateo County.
Breaking the Link (Marin County) Breaking the Link works with high school students to address and prevent alcohol-related Sexual Assault among youth in Marin County. We aim to “break the link” between the serious problems of alcohol use and violence, particularly sexual assault. |
