Technical Assistance

The Center for Training, Research, and Evaluation has a team of experienced staff and consultants that provide technical assistance to organizations, foundations, and government to increase the effectiveness of their programs and services, and design and implement new programs and initiatives.

Consulting and technical assistance services go beyond a one-time training and are offered as collaborative partnerships between the Youth Leadership Institute and the organization that can be ongoing or for a limited amount of time. To see information on one-time trainings, click here.

California Friday Night Live Technical Assistance

The Youth Leadership Institute's experience providing technical assistance includes serving as the designated technical assistance provider for the California Friday Night Live Partnership for the past 15 years. Friday Night Live is a network of 55 county-based youth development programs that engage evidence-based youth development and environmental prevention models to address community health and create positive change.

The Youth Leadership Institute directs the Office of Research, Education, and Training for California Friday Night Live and draws from a pool of technical assistance providers with expertise in the public and private education systems, health and prevention systems, restorative justice systems, and public and non-profit agencies and organizations.
